    SOCK BURNING & OYSTER ROAST

    Celebrate the Spring Equinox with us at our 2nd Annual “Burning of the Socks” when in the good sailing tradition we’ll burn our old socks to mark the end of winter and start of the boating season. We are hosting a bonfire and oyster roast at Sloop Point in Kinsale for all club members. BYOB, BYOsocks.

    WATERMAN’S MARKET 1

    We'll be hosting 3 Waterman's Markets again this year, with the first coming up in April. Join us for a fun mix of vendors set up in the slips and backyard all afternoon. The Waterman's Markets are held to showcase local seafood, along with artists, artisans, food & beverage, small businesses, and non-profits. They're a great way to get the community together by the river and meet our creative neighbors! These events are free and open to all.

    CLEAN THE BAY DAY

    The Kinsale Waterfront Fund will be hosting Clean the Bay Day this year at the marina, as part of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s annual event. Join us at 9AM for a morning of community clean up!

    POOL & BAR OPENING

    Back in the swing of things! The pool will open on Friday of Memorial Day Weekend and Lucky’s will be back for the season on the roof deck, with Katy and Josh serving up your favorites every Friday-Sunday.

    MDW EVENTS IN KINSALE

    Start the day with the Market 5K - lineup begins at 7:30AM - for a beautiful course that takes you across the bridge, winding through historic properties and Rivah Vineyards. Then continue celebrating at the club, bar opens at 11AM! Dueling Pianos starts at 6PM at the Kinsale Market.

    TRIVIAH AT THE CLUB BAR

    Our first ever Triviah - trivia by the rivah - is being held up at the bar starting at 2PM. Gather your squad for an afternoon of fun, thinking and drinking! Teams of up to 8 people, and the winners get a pool party.

    SCREENING OF BEEN HERE STAY HERE

    For our first Float-In Theatre of the season we’re screening “Been Here Stay Here” a documentary focused on Tangier Island. The movie will play inside at 7PM and outside at 9PM, where you can view by boat or land. $15/person, kids are free.

    CLUB FIELD TRIP TO TANGIER ISLAND

    We are organizing a trip to Tangier for Sunday, May 31st! We'll depart on the ferry from Buzzard's Point Marina in Reedville at 10AM, enjoy a 1.5 hour narrated cruise over on the "Chesapeake Breeze," explore & have lunch, then return to Reedville by 4PM.     250th Events Around Kinsale

    Celebrate America’s 250th with special events being held in Kinsale at the Marina, Market, and Museum as well as the nearby Yeocomico Church and Stratford Hall!

    Our second Waterman’s Market will take place in June, during the first official weekend of Summer. Come by that afternoon for vendors, seafood, activities and live music from Scuffletown!

    FATHER’S DAY AT THE CLUB

    Every year we like to celebrate the papas with an afternoon of special menu items and activities, so bring them on out! We plan to host Wings & Swings again, featuring chicken wings on the smoker and golf competitions by the river.

    Triviah is back! Join us up at Lucky’s with your team (8 max) to play for glory AND a pool party.

    4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION

    The annual 4th of July Celebration in Kinsale is always a highlight of the summer. We close the road down and it fills with people here for the food, music, and best fireworks show over the river from the Fire Dept!

    Our final Waterman’s Market will feature music, food, and a lineup of awesome vendors once again.

    KINSALE DAY & SAYONARA SUMMER

    Throughout the day enjoy activities in the park, hosted by the Kinsale Foundation as part of their 49th annual Kinsale Day celebration. Starting at 5PM join us at the marina for food, music and a sendoff to Summer! Fireworks cap off the night over the river, thanks to the Fire Dept.

    THE GODSPEED VISITS KINSALE

    Visiting from Jamestown, the impressive Godspeed will be staying with us at The Slips this Fall. Open to the public on Saturday, Oct 31st and Sunday, Nov 1st and then they are providing an education day for local students on Monday, Nov 2nd. We look forward to planning a few activities around their stay!
